Douglas T. Eden
Principal and Managing Partner of Eden Capital Management, LLC ("ECM")
Mr. Eden earned his Bachelors Degree in Economics with a concentration in Insurance & Risk Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in May 1992. Mr. Eden worked in the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry for 24 years serving as Senior Vice President with CNA Financial (NYSE: CNA) in Chicago, Illinois, Senior Vice President with The Main Street America Group in Jacksonville, Florida and Executive Vice President with Selective Insurance Company (NASDAQ: SIGI) in Branchville, New Jersey. Since 2023, Mr. Eden has served as Director of Hawthorn Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: HWBK), a bank holding company.
Mr. Eden has been an active investor in the marketplace, privately managing assets for more than 25 years and from 2012-2014 he served on the Investment Committee of the Main Street America Group with oversight of the Property & Casualty insurer's $2 Billion investment portfolio. Mr. Eden created ECM in 2016 to provide clients with enhanced total return investment portfolios, benefiting from Mr. Eden's research into undervalued equity and fixed income securities. Nothing pleases Mr. Eden more than having satisfied clients, and the majority of ECM's growth has come from referrals by existing clients.
William W. Ockerman
Partner, Investment Advisor, Chief Compliance Officer
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (2020), Mr. Ockerman also holds a Master's Degree in Finance from William & Mary. Prior to joining ECM, Mr. Ockerman served as an Army Logistics Officer for five years in a variety of demanding leadership roles.
As a longtime ECM client prior to joining the Firm professionally, Mr. Ockerman has witnessed firsthand the strength and resilience of ECM’s investment approach through various market cycles. His conviction in ECM’s methodology is rooted in extensive personal experience, enabling him to offer unique insights to clients.
As Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Ockerman ensures that ECM adheres to rigorous industry standards and best practices, maintaining the highest level of integrity and client trust. His strategic foresight and commitment to financial excellence position him as a key asset to the Firm and its clients.
Joseph M. Conlin
Partner, Investment Advisor, Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (2020), Mr. Conlin also holds a Master's Degree in Finance from William & Mary. Prior to joining Eden Capital Management, Mr. Conlin served as an Army Field Artillery Officer for five years, leading teams in environments that required precision, strategic foresight, and adaptability.
With a decade of active investment experience, Mr. Conlin's specialized areas of interest include the retail and real estate sectors. Analytical by nature, his ability to merge disciplined financial analysis with market insights makes him a tremendous asset to the Firm and our clients. Mr. Conlin's passion is protecting and building long-term wealth for ECM's clients, and he believes ECM's disciplined value-focused strategy is optimal for achieving this.
